Why does the download page say "Transfer not found"?

You have a download link, but when you try to access the page, you see a message saying that the transfer does not exist?

This can happen for several reasons:

The transfer does not exist
The transfer link is incorrect or incomplete
A filter or an extension is modifying the URL before reaching the page

It should be formatted as follows:

https[:]//www.transfernow.net/dl/<ID>/<KEY>

where <ID> is the unique identifier of your transfer, and <KEY> is the unique security and identification key.

If you clicked directly on the button in the email and it doesn’t work, try copying the link below the button and manually pasting it into your browser’s address bar.

Disable extensions and test in private browsing mode:

Some ad blockers, privacy protection extensions, or VPNs may modify or remove part of the URL, preventing access to the transfer.

Try opening the link in private browsing mode (incognito mode) to see if the issue persists.
Temporarily disable your browser extensions, especially those related to security or privacy (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, DuckDuckGo, etc.).
If you are using a VPN (such as NordVPN), check that "Threat Protection Pro" is disabled, or at least make sure that the "URL Cleaner" service is turned off, as it may alter links before loading them.

Try using a different browser:

If the issue persists, try opening the link in another browser, such as: Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, or Safari.

If, after these checks, you still cannot access your transfer, please contact our support team with a screenshot or a screen recording to help us better understand your user journey.
