TransferNow & GDPR
TransferNow complies with the GDPR, which regulates the protection of personal data for users within the European Union.
We implement technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed through our service.
Data security
Your personal data is protected through several security mechanisms:
- Data is encrypted in transit using the SSL/TLS 1.3+ (HTTPS) protocol.
- Data is also encrypted at rest using the AES 256-bit advanced encryption standard.
- Each encryption key is itself protected and encrypted with a set of regularly rotating master keys.
- TransferNow also supports Server-Side Encryption with Customer-Provided Keys (SSE-C), allowing organizations to use their own passphrases/encryption keys to secure their file transfers.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Companies or organizations using TransferNow may need to sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to formalize responsibilities related to the processing of personal data.
You can download, sign, and upload your DPA directly from your TransferNow dashboard.
