How do I activate dual authentication by Application or SMS ?

Double authentication (or two-factor authentication) strengthens the security of your accounts by adding a second layer of verification when logging in. In addition to the password, it requires a unique code sent by SMS, e-mail or via an authentication application. It's an effective way of reducing the risk of piracy and securing sensitive information.

To activate double authentication:

Log in and click on the “My account” button at the top right of your screen, or click on the “menu” button (3 horizontal lines) if you're using a tablet or smartphone.
Then click on the “Security” link in the drop-down list.
In the “Two-factor authentication” box, you'll have 2 options:

Associate by application :

Click on the “Associate by application” button
Follow the instructions to associate a new device with an application.
Enter the code received to validate the process.

Associate by SMS :

Click on the “Associate by SMS” button.
Enter your telephone number to receive a code by SMS;
Enter the validation code received and double authentication by SMS will be activated for your account.

If you wish, you can deactivate double authentication by clicking on the “Deactivate double authentication” button. You will be asked to enter a code to confirm the deactivation of double authentication for your account.

We recommend double authentication by Application.
