How do I add contacts and manage my address book?
You want to add and edit a contact in your address book? For this you must be connected to a TransferNow account.
To add contacts, you have several options:
Manually add a new contact:
Click on the "Dashboards" link at the top of your screen or by clicking on the "menu" button (3 horizontal strokes) if you use a tablet or smartphone.
Then select “Address Book” available from the side navigation of your “Dashboard”.
Click on the “Add a contact” button and enter your new contact’s email address, first name and company (optional).
Click on “Validate” to add it to your address book.
Import contacts (automate the addition of many contacts):
We currently offer two methods to import contacts:
I - Select a CSV file containing the contacts to import
Click on the "Dashboards" link at the top of your screen or by clicking on the "menu" button (3 horizontal strokes) if you use a tablet or smartphone.
Then select “Address Book” available from the side navigation of your “Dashboard”.
Then click the “Import” button to access the contact import manager and select a CSV file containing the contacts to import.
Please format it in the same way as the example below (without the first line of titles):
Your CSV columns must be separated by commas and not semicolons or any other characters, and the number of columns in your CSV should be the same as in the example above.
Max. size of a CSV file: 500 KB
Max users per import: 1000
Validate and import your contacts.
II - Copy/paste contacts to import into a field provided for this purpose
Click on the "Dashboards" link at the top of your screen or by clicking on the "menu" button (3 horizontal lines) if you use a tablet or smartphone;
Then select “Address Book” available from the side navigation of your “Dashboard”;
Then click on the “Import” button to access the contact import manager and follow the example below by adding one contact per line in the field provided:
Here is an example: email, first name, last name, company
email1@domain.com, John Doe, MyCompany
email2@domain.com, Jeanne Dupont, MyCompany
email3@domain.com, Alex Doe
Company is optional and only the e-mail address, first name and last name are mandatory values.
Validate and import your contacts.
To edit or delete a contact from your address book, click the edit delete button on the corresponding contact line.
You can use the Address Book option directly from the transfer creation form to easily add one or more recipients to your email transfers. This allows you to avoid having to enter the email address or addresses of your recurring contacts and recipients.
