# How to Request and Receive Files ?

Requesting and receiving files is quick and easy, and we offer multiple options to suit different needs:

From the homepage of our free service, you can select and use **the "Receive" mode** (located at the bottom right of your screen) or go directly to [this link](https://www.transfernow.net/en/request-files).

### 1. Requesting Files via Email

The **"Receive" mode** allows you to [request files via email](https://www.transfernow.net/en/request-files#S1) from one or multiple recipients. Once you've created a file request, your recipients receive an email notification containing a secure link, allowing them to easily upload files.

When files are uploaded in response to your request, you’ll receive an email notification with a secure download link.

Alternatively, you can choose to [create a secure file upload link](https://www.transfernow.net/en/request-files#S2), which allows you to share a deposit link broadly to receive files from multiple sources.


### 3. Get a Permanent Upload Link with a TransferNow Account

Need a **permanent upload link** that doesn’t expire and allows you to collect information while receiving files?

[With a TransferNow account](https://www.transfernow.net/en/register), you can generate a **"push" link** that can be shared as needed to receive files. You’ll be notified by email whenever new files are available for download.

For example, you can add this link to your email signature to let your contacts know they can send you files directly.
