How to add, import, edit, or delete a contact group ?
To manage your contact groups, you must be logged into a TransferNow Enterprise account as an administrator.
If you wish to create and manage your contact groups :
Click on the “Dashboard” link at the top right of your screen, or click on the “menu” button (3 horizontal lines) if you're using a tablet or smartphone;
Select “Address book” to access your contacts;
From your address book, click on the “Contact group” button to access the management page;
To add a new contact group, you have several options:
I - Create a new contact group and add contacts manually:
Click on the “Add a contact group” button, then enter the name you wish to give to the new contact group;
Click to select the contacts you wish to associate, then confirm.
II - Import multiple contacts into a contact group :
Click on the “import” button to access the contact import manager.
We currently offer two methods for importing contacts into a group:
Select a CSV file containing the contacts to be imported
Copy/paste the contacts to be imported into a field provided for this purpose.
If you choose to import from a CSV file, please format it as shown in the example below (without the first line of titles):
contact group name, password, sub-domain (optional)
Your CSV columns must be separated by commas, not semicolons or any other character, and the number of columns in your CSV must be the same as in the example above.
Maximum number of contacts per group: 50
If you choose to import contacts by copy/paste, please follow the example below, adding one contact per line in the field provided:
Here's an example: email
To edit a contact group :
Click on the icon with “3 people and a cog” to the right of your contact group name.
To delete a contact group, click on the “trash can” icon on the corresponding contact line.
