How do I protect a transfer with a password?
Password-protecting file transfers guarantees the confidentiality and security of your documents. By adding a password, only those recipients to whom you have communicated the password will be able to access the file download. This protects you from unauthorized access and reduces the risk of sensitive information leaking out, especially when sharing confidential or personal documents.
To password-protect a transfer and lock access to your file downloads, simply :
Click on the button with the “padlock” icon in our file transfer creation form;
Enter the password of your choice in the field provided;
Click on “Validate” to save your password.
Please note that the password is not automatically sent to your recipients. It is up to you to communicate it yourself, by the means of your choice, so that your recipients and contacts can access the file download.
