# How do I make my first file transfer?


# Welcome to TransferNow 🚀

Do you need to send one or more files to one or multiple recipients? It’s easy!

### 1. Access the file transfer page

Go to our [homepage](https://www.transfernow.net/en) to send large files.  
Click **"Start"** to select the files you want to send. You can also choose to send **folders**—if you do, we’ll maintain the folder’s structure in your transfer.

### 2. Fill in the transfer details

Complete the form with the following information:

* **Your email address**: This allows us to send you a summary of your transfer by email, including a management link to track downloads or delete your transfer if needed.
* **Your recipients' email addresses**: Each recipient will receive an individual email with a secure download link.

🛡️ For confidentiality reasons, recipients are not copied on the same email.
Example: If you add 3 recipients, each person will receive a separate email with a unique download link.

### 3. Customize your transfer

Before sending your files, you can:  
✅ Add more files or folders if needed.  
✅ Enable notifications (download confirmation, expiration reminder, etc.).  
✅ Manage preview and streaming options for your files.

### 4. Send your files

Once everything is set, click **"Transfer"**, and let TransferNow do the rest!

📩 After sending, you will receive a confirmation on-screen and by email, informing you that your files have been successfully transferred.
