# How do I create one or more subdomains, and what's the point ?

Personalize your experience by adding a subdomain and theme to your transfers. Subdomains let you **customize the file-sharing URL** with your company, organization or other name. By using a dedicated sub-domain, you can also better manage and **secure your transfers**, while maintaining a clear brand image for your customers or collaborators.

To create one or more sub-domains:

1. Log in to your account and click on the “cog” icon, available from the menu's side navigation ;
2. Then click on the “New subdomain” button, create the subdomain you wish and click on “Validate”.
