How do I add a password to a transfer ?
Protecting a file transfer with a password enhances the security and confidentiality of your documents. Adding a password gives you greater control over who can access file downloads.
To password-protect a file transfer :
Go to your home page, click on the “Start” button and select your files;
When sending a file, click on the “padlock” icon on our file transfer form;
Complete the field and click on “Validate” for your changes to take effect.
We do not communicate the password associated with your transfer to your recipients, and it will be up to you to communicate it by the means of your choice so that your contacts can access the download.
If you have already created your file transfer, you can add, edit or delete a password from the management page available in your dashboard and from the “My transfers” page.
