# Do I need a TransferNow account to send files?

You don't need to have a TransferNow account to send or download files. 

You can choose to create a **TransferNow** **Premium** account or **higher** to get all the features like personalization, address book, receiving files from your website, ... and higher service limits (up to 500 GB per transfer, 365 days transfer availability, etc).
